unmasked: who are you?

So the Melbourne ops are out searching for Kabuki masks, as per the instructions of Charlie.

Wishfully thinking that we US ops might some day be so lucky, I started poking round the internets for purveyors of said masks. I discovered, as others operatives have discussed, that the Kabuki-mask market is pretty much non-existent.

There are, however, a glorious number of other mask styles available for purchase. And though I've yet to take the plunge, after a few hours of exploring I now know far more about the world of masquerade than I ever thought I would. (But still not nearly as much as I would like to.)

So, if you were told to buy yourself a mask -- any mask -- what would you choose?

Would you go with a traditional Carnivale mask in the Venetian style? An eye mask, a half-mask, or a full mask? Maybe something in the bella luna family? Feathers? How about leather? Or are you more concerned about your budget?
